The latest Life is Strange game has a clone of me, which is weird

I recently learned Life is Strange: Double Exposure Have a character like mine. Not only do I mean they talk like me, they even dress like me. I mean moses from the latest life is strange Game appearance only Like me (at least when I had my hair freshly cut and trimmed), he even had my jingle name! Of course, I’m Moises and he’s Moses, but if you Anglicize my name, it’s the same thing. I don’t know if I should be flattered or get on the phone with some lawyers.

Live forever in the universe of “New World: Eternity”

I was just making a joke about lawyers. I’m a writer living in New York, and I’m too poor to even get legal representation. All I could do was call some friends who had gone to law school and ask around, and then they realized they should be charging me a consulting fee. Since this option was completely non-existent, I gave in completely to flattery.

Moses seemed like a lovely and decent man. He is a good friend of Max and Safi double exposureand seemed to embody some of the same ideals and passions that I did. A video from the developer and publisher briefly introduces the guy, who is clearly a physicist and nerd, emphasizing his love for setting rules, games, anime, and other silly things. He was also a big guy and rocked as many layers as I did. thisFriends, this is what it feels like to be seen.

Moses is Such It’s a stereotype that makes me kick my feet up here with excitement because this feels like a wonderful culmination new Stereotypes. For example, I love that he’s a nerd. Growing up, the media led me to believe that being a nerd was a way of life for some people, and I wasn’t necessarily one of them. Of course, my life experience quickly revealed that this idea was a complete farce – the biggest nerd in my life was another brown and black kids i debated dragon ball and Star Wars beside During lunch or break. Moses struck me as someone I might have known in this way.

Likewise, I like that he’s a mature physicist. Minorities grew up occasionally playing scientists and computer geniuses—the most obvious of which now feels like Samuel L. Jackson’s in “Arnold.” jurassic park— but again, these careers were conveyed to me in large part as roles for people more privileged than myself. Fast forward to now, and some of the people I hold dearest (not to mention some of the smartest people I know) are Black doctors. Many years ago, we got drunk and played in the dormitory Super Smash Bros. Now that these incredible people are saving lives, they may still find time to cheer me on. And I play games for a career! They include a multitude of people, and so do I.

I don’t know Moses, I’ve never played Life is Strange: Double Exposurebut I already love him because he represents all these positive changes in how people like me look while being viewed exactly like me! i don’t always see I In a great light, so it’s great to have a copy of mine that does look and sound like a man worth admiring. I don’t know, man, that kind of certainty is a luxury in the game and I try to take advantage of it as much as I can.

I, and many other marginalized people inside and outside the gaming industry, lament the fact that there are never enough people who look and talk like us in video games. I can’t describe the mental damage you unknowingly suffered. Your favorite hobbies and pastimes rarely reflect your reality. It’s been a boon with the increasing diversity of main characters and great customization tools over the past few years, but I’d never been able to look at a character that I didn’t create myself and truly say, “Wow, that’s me,” until Moses in Here it comes. To all the white people out there who have enjoyed this feeling since there have been games, I see you, I get it, and I’m not giving up on this feeling.

I don’t even care that Moses is a minor character in some white girl’s story. I really don’t know. I don’t always want to be the protagonist, I just like to feel like I have a place in it all without having to fight incredibly hard for it. Moses felt the same way. I made no effort to make Him a thing, I made no effort to summon Him. That’s who he is, just like that’s who I am. This is enough.
