Sylvester Stallone shines on the small screen after the premiere of “The King of Tulsa” in November 2022.
The King of Tulsa Season 1 ended with a lot of unanswered questions, so we’re rounding up everything you need to know about The King of Tulsa Season 2.
Scroll down for all the details.
The King of Tulsa Season 2 Renewal Status
Anything Sylvester Stallone touches turns to gold.
The same goes for creator Taylor Sheridan, so it’s no surprise that Paramount+ quickly renewed The Kings of Tulsa for a second season.
Paramount Media Networks and MTV Entertainment Studios President/CEO Chris McCarthy said in November 2022:
“The King of Tulsa becomes the number one new series of the year, surpassing all other series, including the Game of Thrones sequel House of the Dragon.
“With previews on Paramount Network and Paramount+, it broke records and propelled us to our largest new sign-up day in history – which is why we greenlighted a second season immediately.”
“Tulsa King, along with the 1883 and upcoming Kingston mayors in 1923, undeniably confirmed the success of our strategy of franchising Yellowstone and leveraging it to drive streaming growth – without Taylor Shay With Lidden’s creative planning, none of this would be possible.
So, there we have it. The King of Tulsa Season 2 is definitely coming.
‘The King of Tulsa’ Season 2 Cast: Who’s Starring?
The cast has yet to be confirmed, but we shouldn’t expect too many changes.
We should expect Stallone to return as Dwight Manfredi, Martin Starr as Bodhi, Jay Weir as Tyson, and Andrea Savage as Stacey.
Garrett Hedlund will return as Mitch Keller, Max Casella as Armand “Manny” Trucy, and Domenic Lombardozzi as Chichi Invernitz. Dana Delany plays Margaret Devereaux.
The rest of the cast is rounded out by Vincent Piazza as Vince Antonacci and Chris Caldovino as Goodie.
The show’s regular cast is growing, with Annabelle Sara and Zappardino both reappearing in the first season and taking on new status.
Sciorra plays Dwight’s sister, Joanne, and Zappardino plays Dwight’s daughter, Christina “Tina” Manfredi-Gehrig, who has struggled with years of miscommunication and regret while serving time in prison. Later, Dwight reconnects with her.
According to Deadline , Frank Grillo has joined the cast as Dwight’s antagonist. He plays Bill Bevilaqua, a Kansas City gangster with an interest in Tulsa. This should piss Dwight off!
You’ll also recognize another familiar face in the trailer below. Neal McDonough stars as a gang-adjacent Tulsa businessman named Cal who is powerful and territorial.
The King of Tulsa Season 2: Plot Details
The King of Tulsa Season 1 Episode 9 left a lot of plot threads hanging, including what Dwight can even do.
By the time season one ended, he was already in trouble, but if the series has taught us anything, it’s that he knows how to get out of it.
It looks like the judge will be tough on him, but we’re sure he’ll bounce back quickly.
In season two, Dwight (Stallone) and his team continue to build and defend their growing empire in Tulsa, but as they find their way, they realize they’re not the only ones looking to stake their claim people.
Faced with looming threats from the Kansas City mob and a very powerful local businessman, Dwight works to keep his family and crew safe while keeping track of all his affairs.
Plus, he had unfinished business in New York.
