Get ready to stand up and bounce… some hoops!
Children’s entertainment icons The Wiggles have teamed up with The Harlem Globetrotters to release a new version of their hit song “Bouncing Balls.” The new song is a musical crossover between the original and the Harlem basketball team’s theme song, “Sweet Georgia Brown.”
The original “bouncing balls” came in a variety of colorful and shaped balls, from volleyballs to basketballs to soccer balls. This song encourages kids to get outside, get active, and bounce balls!
The fresh mashup will feature new rap beats performed by Globetrotter βMooseβ Weeks. Joining the song’s full chorus are “Ace” Porter, “Baller” Moss, Sweet Lou Dunbar and “Too Tall” Winston Anthony Wiggle, John Wiggle, Tsehay Wiggle, Lucia Wiggle, Lachy Wiggle, Evie ” Weigel,” “Simon Weigel,” as well as “The Wisdom Tree,” “Dorothy the Dinosaur” and “Wag the Dog.”
The new song will be released on The Wiggles YouTube channel on September 5th, and will be released on music streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music shortly after. After listening, kids will soon be eager to get active and bounce!
