As announced last month, starting with issue 6, artists Juan Ferreira will join the ongoing ninja turtles Series as Artist. Prior to this, there was a series of acclaimed artists who each worked on issues focusing on different turtles and new villains. Today, The Beat is proud to exclusively reveal the cover and solicit information for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #7, which will be available in comic shops on February 26, 2025.
Needless to say, IDW’s relaunch of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise has been a huge success. Orders for the first issue of the comic exceeded 300,000, making it the largest comic book release so far in 2024. For comparison, Absolute Batman #1 reports 250k and special forces #1 reports 225k.
I’m pretty sure we’re just saying that the Ninja Turtles will be hunted when they return to New York, not that the Foot Clan has taken over New York and runs the police, firefighters, etc.
