Next year, DC Studios co-executive James Gunn’s “Superman” movie will be released, which will obviously be the first big start of the new DCU. However, this isn’t really the first project, as that title belongs to Creature Squad, an animated series that Gunn is once again producing, this time focusing on Amanda Waller’s crimes against Amanda Waller of some serious human rights violations. Viola Davis is also set to return as Amanda Waller from The Suicide Squad movies as well as The Peacemaker and Black Adam , as is Steve Agee as John Economos. The first trailer released at San Diego Comic-Con, which you can see above, honestly looks pretty good! The character designs are solid and the style is quite nice. Executive producer Dean Lorey previously described the show as Gunn’s “first expression” in terms of the tone of the new DCU, so when the show hits theaters in December on Max, you’ll be You’ll get a rough idea of what’s going to happen next.
