The first big patch since the launch of Diablo 4 Season 5 will be released tomorrow (August 20). Will post you to play.
Update 1.5.1 focuses on the Infernal Horde, a new end-game event and a major feature of the season. It also features some quality-of-life changes that I honestly believe are already in the game because they’re so basic.

Before we discuss the Hell Tribe tweaks, it’s worth highlighting the small but impactful changes that patch 1.5.1 made to the UI and user experience. Firstly, party leaders can now promote another member to the position – I can’t believe that’s not something you can do yet.
Building new characters currently places them at the bottom, but the patch will flip the order so they appear at the top. Those who enjoy haggling will be happy to know that trade chat will immediately become more useful, as it will be separated by world tiers. The game will now also alert players when new patches are available.
The added visuals are the icing on the cake, making it easier to see which corpse bow is shooting at you. As a result, projectile trajectories are now more visible.
In Hell Tribe, the tweak that may have the biggest impact is that gold chests can be reused indefinitely. The rewards for some hell offerings have also become more generous. The list includes Noble Elite, Surging Elite, Unstoppable Elite, and Burning Rain. The patch also makes it easier to know you’ve chosen to burn Aether, thanks to updated sound effects.
Speaking of rewards, Blizzard is making amends to players for issues that arose in the last patch. This issue prevents players from receiving items with guaranteed large affixes where they should. As compensation, all players will receive a batch of legendary items with guaranteed large affixes.
The patch will also restore the Rogue’s Alchemist Control Tempering affix, which was disabled due to a bug. However, the updated version has some changes compared to the older version. The Flurry scale affix is now under Alchemist control, and the Trickery attack level affix is no longer under Alchemist control.
Check out the Blizzard blog for the full changelog, which includes many bug fixes.
