Hello dear readers, and welcome to the SwitchArcade roundup for August 14, 2024. This worked well for me, but for all of you today, it means a slightly shorter article. The review I promised will have to wait for another day. Instead, we took a look at several new releases launching on the eShop today, including the latest sam and max Remastered. Sam & Max: Devil’s Theater ($19.99)
With this version we have all sam and max Games on Switch. Except, you know, the first one. I think this issue is complex. Oh, and there are VR games. Well, take a look. We now have all snitch sam and max Games on Switch, that’s not a thing. Devil’s theater is the final installment, in which our heroic duo end up on an adventure involving aliens, super-powered toys, and strange demons. Guys, they don’t make them like this anymore. They probably never will. I will review this soon.
Cat’s Request ($9.99)
An adventure game about a cat detective and his virtual assistant. You must swap between the two of them and use their unique abilities to progress. The setting is a futuristic metropolis run by powerful artificial intelligence. When a virus threatens the safety of the entire city, our feline heroes step forward to find out the truth about the case. Not bad, even if a little easy.
Small pixel roll. 1 – Ninja Explosion ($4.99)
I guess this is a new series Eastasiasoft is working on, which it says is “a series of pixel art games inspired by arcade and console classics”. This is a vertical shooter where you have a hover bike instead of a spaceship. Inspiration, not arcade or gaming consoles.

Everyone, a Japanese software has started promotion again. I listed a few but not all, if I were to list one it would be the ridiculous 90% off Destiny Link: Tick-Tock Traveler. Not the best RPG, but only four bucks? Well, I think you’ll get a lot out of it. Many sales are due today, final fantasy pixel remake Particularly worthy of attention. Unlike other Square Enix games, they are rarely released. We probably won’t see them on sale again until Christmas, so go get them if you want them.
