- The creative team behind Pompo: The Cinéphile, a film that captured the hearts of many with its love of cinema, has reunited for an exciting new project!
- Shingo Adachi, known for “Lycoris Recoil” and “Sword Art Online”, will be responsible for character design. Kenta Matsikuma will be responsible for the composition. He made his film music debut in the movie “Pompo: The Cinéphile” and later contributed to “Kamen Rider Black Sun”. Animation production will be handled by CLAP, whose latest work “Summer Tunnel, Farewell Exit” was selected for the famous Annecy International Animation Film Festival.
- This film is Takayuki Hirao’s first time directing a completely original work! This is a fresh film made by an experienced team. Interestingly, the project is codenamed “Waste Chef” and is it a cooking-themed movie? Stay tuned!

Pompo: Fan Screening at Anime Expo 2023 Q&A with Director Hirao
Director Takayuki Hirao will participate in Anime Expo 2023, scheduled to be held in Los Angeles from July 1 to 4. During the event, we are excited to host a special screening of Pang Bo: Cinephile, followed by a Q&A with the director.
