At tonight’s gaming awardsa lot of Big game announced and presented a long list of awards. all is well. There were even some really exciting surprises that I loved. But by far the best part of the show is whenever Statler and Waldorf start from Muppets appeared to heckle presenter Geoff Keighley and mock the whole incident.
Characters come from Muppets appeared in the past Game Awards CeremonyBut this year, to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Geoff Keighley’s annual trailer marathon (with some awards breaks for commercials), he invited Statler and Waldorf. If you’re worried that these two incorrigible hecklers won’t be allowed to tear up the show, Jeff, and everything else, don’t worry. These two famous Muppets Insult comics were on fire tonight, providing the biggest laughs and best moments of this year’s lengthy gaming awards event.
Here’s their first appearance early in the show:
After noticing there were some empty seats in the theater, they said to Jeff, “We hear you always sell out!”
When it came to The Game Awards’ upcoming 10th anniversary, they joked about having Jeff host the ceremony, saying: “How much longer is this stupid going to go on? That’s what I’ve been asking for 10 years!”
In another appearance, the pair pleaded for all commercials to stop and for someone to help them. This section will be very relevant to all the writers and reporters covering this show throughout the evening. This is all very good stuff.

But maybe the best part is when they joke Jeff and his friends, metal gear Creator Hideo Kojima. The thing is, I know Jeff is a big deal Muppets fan, so he loved every moment of it.

Regardless, I recommend inviting these two to every video game event and conference. Kudos to Jeff for letting them dunk on him and for a performance like this.
