This week’s Best Comics to Buy brings back one of my favorite old comics, snot girlthe first new issue in about 4 1/2 years. And, as I’ll elaborate on below, I thoroughly enjoyed the return. Val will need to do whatever it takes to get back to reality and complete her mission, but more urgently – will this be the last time she sees her attacker?
Why it’s cool: I may be the head of the Goran Sudzuka fan club, but I just think he’s one of the best regularly working artists in monthly comics, a storyteller who creates big moments and has such a broad, engaging Impressive versatility. His works are basically a must-have for me, and this book is no exception.

Snot Girl #16

The snot girl is back! Now that fashion influencer Lottie Person, who suffers from allergies, is officially married to her dream girl Caroline, what kind of trouble will they encounter next? Find out in this long-awaited new issue, starting at the end of Snotgirl #15!
Why it’s cool: Passed by a long interrupt, snot girl return. And it’s as entertaining as ever. I’ll be writing a longer piece on this issue in tomorrow’s Comics Wednesday column, but I find it very odd that a book that is essentially about social media culture now has to adjust its story to accommodate everything that has changed over the past four years. interesting. It handles very well.

Universal Monster – Frankenstein #4

Look! The ultimate showdown between Frankenstein and his creation! But who is the real monster?
