Hold back your tears, everyone, Tom Hardy seems to have confirmed that Venom: The Last Dance is, in fact, The Last Dance.
Look, I know the Venom movies are garbage. They’re a mess and in some ways everything a good story shouldn’t be, but I still love them all – yes, even “Carnage.” So when I say that I’m sad to hear that Venom is the last film in the series, I’m honestly a little sad. On Instagram, Eddie Brock and Venom himself Tom Hardy shared a post with a trailer for the third film, along with a very sweet caption that indeed confirmed that this will be the last we see of the character A movie.

“Thank you for a wonderful time – and seven years,” Hardy wrote. “Best experience I’ve ever had [at] Sony teams up with Venom – this is the last time the gangster and I go out with a bang! Come and see us off – the final installment, the trilogy is complete. We had a great time, thank you. thank you [love] and support – come join us for the final dance. For those of you who enjoyed a great time with all of us in the team – let us entertain you.
The Last Dance looks like it will continue this cute but trashy style, but it also seems to introduce the character of Knull, who is a fairly new character in the comics but was the first to create Venom and all the other symbiotes , and is often considered a threat similar to Thanos, so clearly someone at Sony is planning something big, even if there aren’t more Venom movies in the works.
“Venom: The Last Dance” will be released later this month (October 25).
