fans have been waiting for batman part 2 Ever since the first movie came out. director Matt Reeves With a unique look at Gotham City, we’re eager to see where the story goes next.
Reeves kept the next plot line under wraps, but he ultimately gave us just a sliver of information to chew on while we wait for the full plot synopsis.
In a recent interview with SFX Magazine (via CBM), Levi teased:
“We have shared [the script] Because we’ve been working with DC, they’re very excited. It will delve into an epic story about deeper corruption and go into various places [Bruce Wayne] It couldn’t have been predicted even in the first game.
Corruption worse than Penguin? Sounds good to me. While Reeves was tight-lipped about which characters we might see in the sequel, he did say that certain “fantasy” characters were off the table.
“It was important to me to find a way to take these pop icons, these mythical figures that everyone knows, and translate them so that Gotham feels like a place in our world.
We may push to the edge of fantasy, but we never enter full fantasy. It’s meant to feel grounded.
co-author Mattson Tomlin It was previously reported that the cameras would start operating in 2025.
“We’re filming next year. We’re getting ready, and I would say the bar couldn’t be higher. It’s a sequel to the first one. And, Matt [Reeves] unique.
In the five years that I worked closely with him, I tried to absorb as much as possible from him, and I am so grateful for the time I got to spend with him because he is a true artist in a world where sometimes art cannot flourish Working in the world of development, he was trying to create something that really mattered.
So to be able to be a part of that and be a part of that process is incredible, pretty amazing. I’m excited about this movie.
