Find a modern audience
The most successful original series is Amazon’s “The Boys” with 1.053 billion minutes played; the most watched acquired series is “House of the Dragon” with 1.273 billion minutes played. Therefore, genre dramas are among the best. Whether it’s superhero or fantasy, the genre remains popular.
But wait… Other than that, Acolyte is doing better than Stranger Things, which doesn’t even have any new episodes (its latest is from 2022) but is in the top 10 with 375 million minutes .
