The animation adapted from the short story “5-Ao Nian button“(500 million year button) comes from Sugawara Sotaof Mina’s Tonio Sauce The comic series will premiere on December 28 at 10:00 PM JST (8:00 AM ET) on TokyoMX channel. This episode will tell two stories. In “Wish Upon a Star,” Tonio, Jami, Suko, and Dr. Inoue discover that time has traveled back in time and investigate the cause of the time jump. In “Edge of the Universe,” four characters go on a picnic and Tonio gets dirty in the water. Jamie suddenly asked Inoue Yakase if it was possible to see the edge of the universe. Inoue Hakase took out the “Super Tachyon Picnic Blanket” and the three embarked on a journey to the edge of the universe, leaving the dirty Tonio behind.
Returning actors include Masako Nozawa As Tonio, Misimori Suzuko As Jamie, Ohsora Naomi As a grandson, and Marika Curnow As Dr. Inoue.
The 13th episode of the anime will be broadcast on September 30.

The story centers on a button that will give the person who presses it one million yen (approximately $6,499) on the condition that they spend 500 million years alone in empty space. However, at the end of 500 million years, people will lose their memory and be transported back to the point in time when the button was pressed. The person with this button appears in front of 5-year-old Tonio, 14-year-old Jamie and 17-year-old Suko – three brothers who need money to pay for their father’s hospitalization.
Original author Sugawara is responsible for directing, designing characters, and serving as one of the only staff members on the project. He won again for these roles in the new series. Sugawara co-wrote the episode with him Kosabe Kazuyuki.
