New Episodes Feature ‘AI Emo-kun’ and ‘Fifth Dimension Button’ Stories
The animation adapted from the short story “5-Ao Nian button” from Sugawara Sotaof Mina is not Tonyo-chan The comic series will release its 13th episode on September 30 at 10:30 pm JST TokyoMX and other stations.

This episode will tell two stories. In “AI Emo-kun,” Tonio, Jaimi and Suneko find an artificial intelligence called Emo that can calculate how best to clean their room. As it lives with children, Emo gradually develops emotions unusual for artificial intelligence. The “Fifth Dimension Button” story features a button that, when pressed, gives the user one million yen, but transports them to the fifth dimension.
Returning actors include Masako Nozawa As Tonio, Suzuka Mimori As Jabi, Ohsora Naomi As a grandson, and Mariko Kono As Inoue Hakase. Yamazaki Maka Will join the cast as Emo-kun.
The animation will premiere in July 2022 with a total of 12 episodes.
The story centers on a button that will give the person who presses it one million yen (approximately $7,415) on the condition that they spend 500 million years alone in empty space. However, at the end of 500 million years, people will lose their memory and be transported back to the point in time when the button was pressed. The person with this button appears in front of 5-year-old Tonio, 14-year-old Jabi and 17-year-old Suko – three brothers who need money to pay for their father’s hospitalization.
Original author Sugawara directs, writes, designs characters, and serves as one of the only staff members on the project. He won again for these roles in the new series.
Virtual YouTuber Koko sang the opening theme song “TIME”, virtual YouTuber rim The ending theme song “Tick-Tock Boy” was performed.
