Hello, dear readers, and welcome to the SwitchArcade roundup for June 25, 2024. This means I don’t have time to do any reviews, but we do have some really good new releases to check out, some news and of course the usual list of new products and upcoming sales to check out. I really need to catch up on these reviews ASAP. I’m a playful person who spends time with my family and more. Well, let’s get to the good stuff!

“Atari 50: Anniversary Celebration” will expand later this year
Regular readers will know that I like Atari 50: Anniversary Celebration into pieces. It has a lot more to offer than most retro game series, mostly thanks to its focus on telling the game’s story first. The game recently had some games added via free updates, and Atari said at the time that more games would be coming. Well, now we know what they mean: Atari 50: Anniversary Expanded Edition It will launch later this year on October 25th. It adds two more informative timelines and more than a dozen new videos, as well as a whopping thirty-nine games.
This includes Belzek and a selection of M Network games. There’s no word yet on the full game list, but these two new themes further expand Atari’s influence and the first console war between the Atari 2600 and Intellivision. this Expanded version It will be available in physical form, but existing Atari 50 owners can purchase the added content as DLC if they wish. The standard physical package is priced at $39.99, and the premium Steelbook version is priced at $49.99. As of now, there’s no mention of a price for the DLC, but we’ll let you know when we find out.
“Tetris 99” has ninety-nine events, and “F-Zero 99” is one of them
Well, it was more like forty-one events. But I want to use this title, so here we are. Latest Maximus Cup events Tetris 99 It’s already been announced, it’s a bit meta here because the theme this time is F-Zero99. The event starts on June 28th and runs until the end of the weekend of July 1st. The rules are the usual. Play the game and earn points based on your ranking. If you get one hundred activity points before the end, you can keep the special theme permanently. I might give you a heads up then.

Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble ($49.99)
I feel super monkey ball It’s not intended to be a great party game; it just happens. Every monkey ball Games have since tried to recreate the magic to some extent, but I don’t know if they’ve been wildly successful at it. Well, here’s a new game that really leans toward that goal, with support for four local players and sixteen online players. There’s a huge multiplayer focus this time around, and I’ll let you know how it turns out when I post the review.
Beyond Good and Evil 20th Anniversary Edition ($19.99)
Wow, this happened faster than I expected. Regardless, Ubisoft reminds everyone that it hasn’t completely forgotten beyond good and evil. sequel? What? It can’t hear you. But this is the original game, carefully designed and with some new quality-of-life features added to make it more relevant to modern tastes. You know, things like autosave. If you haven’t played this game before, it’s somewhat similar to SaldaA matter of style, but more than that. Mind you, its story was largely written with the sequel in mind, and it’s been a long time since we’ve seen much happen there. There is no doubt that the game itself is worth playing.
Froggan Encore ($12.99)
Renata and Jack return in this follow-up to the low-polygon platformer from a few years ago. This indie adventure supports couch co-op for up to two players and features a range of new levels and plenty of challenges. has a special taste Frog roots, I know some people can’t get into it. I don’t know that this game will change their minds, but people who liked the first game will definitely enjoy this one.
sales volume
(North American e-store, US prices)
Today’s roster seems small but solid. I don’t feel particularly strongly about any of it, so I’ll let you do your thing. The mailbox is similar, with some good games in it that may be available again soon. Check both lists carefully to see if anything matches your requirements, but remember, this week is still young.

That’s all for today, friends. Tomorrow we’ll have more releases, sales, and maybe some news. I will also try to provide you with at least one review, and I think our friend Mikhail has some cooking stuff too. It’s a family member’s birthday today and it’s nice to have something to celebrate. It’s been a tough year and I doubt things will get better anytime soon. Friends, eat that cake while you can. Hope you all had a great Tuesday, and as always, thank you for reading!
