If Super Mario went to the doctor, he might be told that his reinforcement habits are bad for his body. After all, how many times has a plumber been able to quickly double or half his size, only for his bones to escape and become spare parts for Bowser’s Castle army of dry bones? But Mario’s recent transformation into an elephant in Super Mario Bros. Miracle is causing the most trouble for the Mushroom Kingdom’s best doctor. Seriously, the Elephant Fruit power-up is one of the cutest power-ups in the entire series. A few months ago, Mario the Elephant became the latest officially licensed plush to join Little Pal’s vast catalog of Super Mario plush toys, and now it’s on sale on Amazon at a slight discount.
UPDATE: Mario’s doctor says he’s very happy with his repeated consumption of giant mushrooms, bubble flowers, double cherries, drill mushrooms, and elephant fruit. Coincidentally, the doctor’s name is Dr. Mario.

10.2-inch polyester plush for $22.75. While it was initially priced at $25 before launch, the price climbed to $28 in June and remained so until mid-August. It’s designed to look just like Mario the elephant from the game, with the elephant’s massive trunk and ears, while still sporting Mario’s signature mustache, overalls, and hat.
After seeing Mario the Elephant, we can confirm that the plush toy is just as plump and adorable as he looks in the photos.
While this Elephant Mario plush is undoubtedly adorable, there are plenty of other little buddy Super Mario plush toys out there, many of which are less expensive than Elephant Mario. You should also check out Club Mocchi-Mocchi’s plush toy catalog, which includes Super Mario, Zelda, Animal Crossing, Kirby and other Nintendo characters. These tend to be more expensive and feel more like pillows.
