The Strong National Museum of Gaming is partnering with Wizards of the Coast and WizKids to launch a new exhibit honoring the popular role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons.
The exhibition, “Dungeons & Dragons: 50 Years of Storytelling,” celebrates the community and friendships created by the fantasy game. It features rare artifacts, prototypes, original artwork, interactive elements and behind-the-scenes insights.
Visitors can immerse themselves in a role-playing experience through interactive features and explore the game’s rich history. Guests can create their own character, discover their character class through quizzes, and test their skills as a Dungeon Master in a five-minute event.
The Story National Museum of Gaming will also showcase rare and historically significant artifacts from Dungeons & Dragons history. These artifacts include the first edition Dungeons & Dragons set, the first issue of Dungeons & Dragons. dragon Magazine sent to co-creator Gary Gygax, along with original artwork that has defined the game’s visual identity for decades.

From September 21 to January of the following year, visitors can experience “Dungeons & Dragons: 50 Years of Storytelling” at the Strong National Museum of Gaming in Rochester, New York. 2025.
