“Strike 2” ushered in another anime collaboration, this time with the superhero boy “My Hero Academia”.
The anime and manga revolve around high school superheroes and villains fighting for the future of a world where most people are born with some kind of special superpower (aka a quirk), making it a perfect fit for Struggle , because it is a superhero-style team-up of heroes and villains in its own right. The My Hero Academia manga concluded with Chapter 430 earlier this year, but the anime is still in progress.
As part of the limited-time event, five My Hero Academia skins will be available for purchase, with three hero skins and two villain skins to choose from. These skins will be available from October 17th to 30th. They are:
- Tracer plays the series protagonist Deku
- Juno as the anti-gravity wielder Uravity
- Reinhardt as series idol All Might
- Kiriko plays Deku’s obsessed villain Himiko Toga
- Bleach as Tomura Shigaraki, leader of the League of Villains
While players will have to spend real money to purchase said skins, there will be freebies like sprays and weapon trinkets.
The “My Hero Academia” cross-over version of “Strike 2” is just the latest animated link version. Blizzard’s FPS has previously used skins from the sci-fi anime “Cowboy Bebop” and another superhero anime and manga “One Punch Man” .
Currently, “Strike 2” players can celebrate World of Warcraft’s 30th anniversary with special Warcraft-themed skins and customization options. Blizzard has also recently offered some benefits to Strike Force 2 players who are currently subscribed to Game Pass or signed up before November 11th. Prism’s reward (for upgrading Mythic skins).
