Disney released a short video online, giving us our first look at the CG animated version of Stitch from the live-action film “Lilo and Stitch.”
In the film, “Lilo is a lonely Hawaiian girl who adopted an ugly little ‘dog’ whom she named Stitch. What if Stitch was not actually a man who escaped from an alien planet and crash-landed on Earth? Genetic experimenter, then he would be a perfect pet.
“Through her love, faith, and unwavering belief in the Hawaiian family value of ohana, Lilo helped open Stitch’s heart and empowered him to care for others.”
Cast includes newcomers Maya Kealohawho is playing Lilo; Billy Magnussen As the one-eyed alien Pleakley, Sidney Elizabeth Short (NCIS) plays Nani, Lilo’s sister and legal guardian, Nani’s original voice, Tia Carellwill play a new character named Mrs. Kekoa, while the actress Amy HillThe actress who plays Lady Hasegawa in the animated film and series will play a new character named Tūtū.
Zach Galifianakis Also starring and confirmed to play Stitch’s scientist creator Jumba.
Dean Fleischer Camp (Marcel the shell wearing shoes) is directing the remake, which will release primarily on Disney+. Chris Kekanio Kalani Bright Wrote the adapted screenplay.
