Massive Entertainment and Ubisoft’s Star Wars Desperados is finally launching later this week, but with reviews for the Red Dead Redemption -esque game already out, there’s only one question left: How is it? ? Well, it depends on who you ask, and while most reviews are generally positive, it pretty much covers all review scores.
Jim over at VG247 gave us a high rating, giving the game 4/5 stars in his review, which you can check out here . While Jim did make it clear that Star Wars Desperados won’t win many Game of the Year awards for a number of reasons, it still manages to capture a very specific Star Wars vibe that helps you feel young again – and it has The help game looks great too.

Still, Jim isn’t the only one who has opinions about Star Wars (too many people have opinions about Star Wars), but you can check out some of the thoughts and scores others have shared below:
For the most part, Star Wars Desperados will either be to your liking or not, depending on what you want. Wanting to play around in the world of Red Dead Redemption and semi-role-play as a Han Solo-type character doesn’t exactly push the world of game development to the next level, but what it does do is solid time? Sounds like this is the one for you! But if you’re a little tired of the typical Ubisoft open world formula, you might want to give this one a miss.
