Today is the world premiere of Star Wars Desperados in Early Access. In the US, Early Access starts at midnight on the East Coast and 9pm on the West Coast. Other time zones accordingly.
In Europe, Early Access starts at 23:00 UK local time and 24:00 Central European local time (midnight).
In Australia, you can play the game earlier than the rest of the world, with Early Access also starting at midnight local time, meaning Australian fans can already play the game (it’s 4:45am in Sydney as I write this).
As such, the United States is one of the last regions to get into the game, so expect spoilers if you’re on social media.
The comment ban was lifted earlier today and most of the comments on YouTube’s important gaming channels (i.e. channels like ACG, Mortismal Gaming, etc. that I think focus only on the game itself, rather than some agenda or politics) are mostly positive, almost all of the comments They say Desperados 100% embodies the feel of Star Wars, the open world feel is very active, some people don’t like the stealth focus in this game, but most of the reviews I’ve read give it a thumbs up Rating between 7 and 7. Only one commenter (Youtuber MrMattyPlays) absolutely hated his experience. Mainstream gaming websites also gave 7-8 rewards to criminals. But I never read their comments again and ignored them entirely.
I’ve pre-ordered the Gold Edition, and I’ll be playing the game in just over three hours. I think I’ll sleep in again next week. Looking forward to a full review of JTA once I’ve fully finished the game. So probably over the weekend or early next week. Outlaws is clearly a much more streamlined game than Ubisoft’s previous open-world efforts (check out Assassin’s Creed Valhalla here), and if you jump straight into the main campaign you can beat it in around 15-20 hours Completing the game, completing the game with you completing all the missions will of course take longer, probably in the 50 hour range.
Did you pre-order the Gold or Ultimate Edition for early access? Will you buy the game once it officially releases on Friday?
