Disney’s Star Wars has been performing strongly through the Galaxy Giveaway campaign, and this week’s reveals draw on the rich history of Star Wars publishing, including heir to the empire and shadow of empire.
The first is two of the most legendary Star Wars characters. The Black Series Luke Skywalker (Imperial Guard) and Princess Leia Organa (Bush) set is available for $44.99. This scene represents an iconic moment: When Leia disguises herself as a Umbis bounty hunter to gather intel on the Black Sun, she’s captured by Xizor and needs Luke to save her. Both action figures are uniformed and come with removable masks and weapons.
The next set to be released at the event is the Retro Collection: Star Wars: Heir to the Empire 3-pack. Price is $49.99. This set includes Captain Pellaeon, Grand Admiral Thrawn, and Jorus Serbaus 3.75-inch action figures. Set includes role-play accessories such as Jorus’ Force lightning hand and Thrawn’s blaster pistol.
Both sets join the other versions of the campaign as collectible action figures for play and display. They are available for pre-order at Hasbro Pulse and participating retailers, with shipping expected in Spring 2025.
