The third major update Star Wars Desperados It’s finally here, promising improvements to stealth, NPC AI, and more. Unfortunately, the patch also disrupts the game’s appearance on PlayStation 5, with players reporting screen tearing issues that ruin the immersion of the usually gorgeous open world.
Star Wars Desperados Title Update 1.3.0 It went live as promised earlier today, marking a major milestone for the sci-fi blockbuster The road to becoming a timeless classicor at least that’s what Ubisoft initially hoped. Highlights in the patch notes include more forgiving stealth conditions in “False Flag” and other missions, fewer collisions when riding in speeding cars, more autosaves while playing, and scaling of “desired” difficulty based on player progress. Some bugs have also been addressed, while overall stability and framerate drops should be better as well.
Unfortunately, what many PS5 players notice immediately after launching the game after the update is not these improvements, but noticeable visual degradation and screen tearing, which is the appearance of ripples on the TV when browsing the world or even menus. These issues are particularly acute in performance mode, which is how most people play PS5 games.
“I loaded the game about half an hour ago and immediately noticed screen tearing. I tried adjusting the settings a bit, but prioritizing quality (40fps) seemed to be the most stable, with very little screen tearing compared to other graphics settings.” wrote about a player on the Reddit subreddit. “I just hope this issue is fixed soon, as the visuals are really the only strength of the game, and having to deal with screen tearing just hinders the overall enjoyment of the game.”
Star Wars Desperados In addition to launching on Steam on November 21, a major update is planned for November. type. For those who haven’t tried Han Solo Simulator yet, this just makes it an extra attractive Black Friday discount pickup, at least as long as no more visual bugs are introduced along the way.
