
Square Enix Comics and Books Announced Comic Partners, a new retailer support program designed to increase comic book sales nationwide. This effort is Penguin Random Houseaims to provide retailers with the tools and knowledge they need to navigate the comics market.
The program will be launched in April 2025, according to a press release shared by Theoasg on X (formerly Twitter). Retailers participating in Penguin Random House’s Direct Marketing Partner Program will receive benefits from comics partners, including store manager training, in-store promotional materials, and early access to featured comic titles.

“Although we have seen a huge market growth in comics among our audiences in the West, our retailers express challenges with overwhelming choices and knowledge gaps. Through the Comics Partner Program, our goal is to make it easier for comic store partners to unlock the potential of comics sales by curating excellent content, delivering excellent content, providing market support, and providing sales associations for this art form, and understanding Art Alt All Garter All Manga, Manga comics comics comics comics.”
The comic shops that have already been admitted to the Penguin Random House Direct Marketing Partner Program will automatically become the Square Enix comics partner store. This gives them access to exclusive promotional materials, one-on-one comic retail consultation, and a free pre-kitchen copy of the upcoming Square Enix title.
To kick off the program, Square Enix Manga & Books announced that comic partner retailers will receive pre-copies of two first series:
- On and off: Work and life imbalance,roll. 1
- Love in his palm,roll. 1
The program marks an important step in expanding comics’ presence in comic shops, while providing retailers with resources to meet growing demand.
