A Saturday morning cartoon inspired sci-fi romp.
Space Monkey Knight sets off! It’s a bit of a mouthful – but that’s exactly the point. The fresh style of this Saturday morning cartoon will appeal to you right away. What first caught your attention? As you scroll through their project page, a burst of color hits you. Then it’s the creative monkeys who lead the charge. The story follows four brave monkeys who are launched into space. During the period of stasis, they absorbed the stories of King Arthur and shaped their mentality to become brave knights. When they crash-land on an alien planet, Space Monkey Knight is officially born. It’s obvious that a lot of love went into this project and it shows. They’ve raised more than $1,000, well above their $500 goal. Definitely worth a look – don’t miss this opportunity!

nice one: Printed copies are available for $25 and signed prints are available for $40.
New prints of 2022 graphic novels sold, new covers by Narwhal
German filmmaker FW Murnau first brought Nosferatu: Symphony of Horror to the screen in 1922, but it was not without controversy. Murnau adapted Bram Stoker’s “Dracula” without permission, leading to a lawsuit from the Stoker estate and a court order that all copies of the film be destroyed. But one copy survives… Fast forward 100 years and Narwhal Comics is bringing this weird, haunting story to a new generation through a graphic novel adaptation. While “Nosferatu” shares some roots with “Dracula,” it’s simpler and stranger. What’s the most significant difference? A vampire isn’t a man with fangs, but a terrifying, bat-like humanoid, which is why we couldn’t resist mentioning it in this week’s crowdfunding roundup!

This is a Gothic Western set in 1890s America, where lawmen and coroners race to solve a series of brutal murders before it’s too late.
Blood Moon Frontier is a thrilling Gothic Western graphic novel set in 1890s America, where a series of brutal murders lead to a chilling investigation. Deputy Sheriff William Crowley and new coroner Arthur Gideon are drawn into a mystery far more terrifying than a simple serial killer. Meanwhile, a young boy named Yuma and two adventurous children find themselves unwittingly drawn into chaos, while bounty hunters Edward Alcott and Olga search for a powerful artifact, but didn’t realize that they were all caught up in a larger conspiracy. Combining supernatural elements, a darkly oppressive theocratic government, and a gripping plot full of twists and turns, we can’t help but think this graphic novel will be a thrilling, atmospheric read for fans of westerns and horror. You don’t want to miss this event.
