Wish you could play Goat Simulator 3 on the go? I have good news, it was announced during today’s Nintendo Direct that this comedy simulation game is coming to Switch.
As always, no, you didn’t miss Goat Simulator 2 because 3 is actually 2 because there is no 2. That’s not the case, but the simple fact is that the game is finally coming to Nintendo Switch in digital form later today, which was confirmed during today’s Nintendo Direct. The exact timing hasn’t been confirmed yet, so if you’re desperate to wreak havoc as goats and other animals in a not-so-simulation game, you’ll just have to keep your eyes peeled. For those who prefer a physical version, you’ll be able to purchase the game sometime in November, though a specific release date has yet to be confirmed.

Goat Simulator 3 has been out for a few years, first launching on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, iOS, and Android back in 2022. Why it took so long to release on Switch, I’m not sure, especially considering it was already released on mobile devices, but hey, as they say, better late than never. Much like the previous version, you can still headbutt, lick, and explore everything in the game scene. There are character customization options, including lots of different outfits, and you’ll be able to play it online or in couch co-op, which is always a plus.

In fact, developer Coffee Stain just announced last week during Gamescom’s opening night live that it would be remaking the original 2014 Goat Simulator, and the news comes shortly after the release of the Multiverse of Nonsense DLC for Goat Simulator 3 (Not mentioned in Direct, just in case you were wondering). An exact release date has not been provided for the remake, but it will apparently be released sometime in 2024.
