Skybound Tabletop, the developer of games such as Boo-ty Call and Trial by Trolley, has signed a licensing agreement with Cartel Entertainment. The company will launch Creepshow: a suspense-building game based on the comic anthology series inspired by Skybound creep show TV drama.
In Creepshow: The Suspense-Building Game, players take on the role of Creeps and create twisted stories. In the story building game, they will use strategy to create chains of story cards and make them suspenseful. Then, when the tension is high, they can bet on the amount of suspense to score big points. Players need to strategize and be wary of sabotage and deception.
The game comes with 54 story cards, 9 ending cards, 34 double-sided point markers, and 5 reference cards. It also contains artwork from designers involved in the design of Skybound creep show Anthology of comics.
The board game will be available this fall for $19.99.
