Thanks to a reveal at Disney’s D23 Expo, we got a look at four new characters that will appear in Lucasfilm’s upcoming series Star Wars: Skeleton Crew.
This is a group of evil pirates led by Venn, who previously appeared in The Mandalorian series. This looks like a fun and interesting group Star Wars figure.
We’re hoping to see the first trailer at tonight’s big presentation at D23, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
The series is described as “a galactic version of Amblin’s classic adult adventure films from the ’80s.” The story follows four children from a small planet who end up lost in Star Wars Galaxy, embark on a journey to find the way home.
The film was pitched to Lucasfilm as “The Goonies exist Star Wars“, someone explained that although the show stars four children, “this is not a children’s show.
The show’s official synopsis reads: “When four children make a mysterious discovery on their seemingly safe home planet, they become lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy. Searching for a way home, they encounter unexpected… Unexpected allies and enemies will make an adventure bigger than them.
Jude Law star of the series, he joined Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Kiriana Kratt, Robert Timothy Smithand Ryan Kira Armstrong.
Episodes of the show will be produced by Bryce Dallas Howard, Daniels, David Lowery, Jack Schreierand Lee Isaac Chung. The Mandalorian’s Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni will executive produce.
