Several new photos from Lucasfilm’s upcoming series have been shared Star Wars: Skeleton Crewit comes from Spider-Man trilogy director Jon Watts.
The series is described as “a galactic version of Amblin’s classic adult adventure films from the ’80s.” The story follows four children from a small planet who eventually become lost Star Wars Galaxy, embark on a journey to find the way home.
The film was pitched to Lucasfilm as “The Goonies exist Star Wars“, someone explained that although the show stars four children, “this is not a children’s show.
The show’s official synopsis reads: “When four children make a mysterious discovery on their seemingly safe home planet, they become lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy. Searching for a way home, encountering unexpected… Unexpected allies and enemies will make an adventure bigger than them.
In an interview with People magazine, show star Jude Law talked about the “joyful” stories the show tells, teasing that fans will see the kids “travel” to places they shouldn’t be, adding Say “I saw the children in that place” and the environment was in a Star Wars The environment is exciting and very, very unique.
He added: “It’s an interesting place, Star Wars, and there are lots of references to old movies and more recent episodes and series. There’s a lot of originality and I hope it’s fun for the audience.
Law went on to talk about his young partners, saying they were “all in a constant state of confusion, danger and challenge.” He explained that the series “is very much about working together, overcoming fear, and overcoming… maybe [one’s] In order to succeed, have a perspective on yourself or your weaknesses.
Speaking about working with his young co-stars, he said: “I had a great time with everyone involved. Especially the four actors who I worked closely with, they were so funny and very Professional and I am very proud to be a part of their crew.
Series creator Jon Watts and Christopher Ford Adding: “Because he’s always with the kids, he also feels like our co-director, co-producer, he’s the co-acting coach, you know, giving the kids advice and they’ll turn to him for help.
“He also really became a mentor to the kids. He didn’t have to do it, he just did it because it was nice and it made things go smoothly.
The children in the series are represented by Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Kiriana Kratt, Robert Timothy Smithand Ryan Kira Armstrong. Episodes of the show will be produced by Bryce Dallas Howard, Daniels, David Lowery, Jack Schreierand Lee Isaac Chung. The Mandalorian’s Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni will executive produce.
