sinner There hasn’t been a lot of buzz until recently, and it’s shocking when you think it’s the latest movie from an award-winning director Ryan Coogler ((creed,,,,, Black Panther). The hype has entered the stratosphere in the past week, earning positive reviews on the board and becoming one of the rare horror movies that have won Cinemascore (the last one is Poltergeist). I was curious about all the excitement, I went to see it, and I can say with certainty that it met expectations and then met some expectations. sinner It’s total victory, a delicious and gratifying effect.
sinner The film was originally announced in January 2024, and the project was ultimately led by Warner Bros., who will have to fight vampires, racism and the lives that matter most to them. It is an incredibly ambitious film that balances the clever and relaxed elements of historical drama, horror, action, romance and musicals that will never be inconsistent with their own tone at any time throughout the narrative. Granted, it is a slow drop into the darkness, transitioning from the mid-term genre of 1996 in 1996. From dusk to dawn, But in a good way, handle it in a similarly relaxed and perfect way. From start to finish, it is sexy, exciting, terrifying, and totally exploded.

Technically, this movie is great. Beautiful shooting Durald Arkapaw in autumn On 65mm film (using the same 70mm IMAX camera Christopher Nolan For use in 2023 Oppenheimer), there are many moments in the movie that are visually amazing. You will feel the urge to capture every inch of the screen, and the entire movie is illuminated well with beautiful colors and amazing photography. You can actually see in night scenes, too, which is the welcome probation for the average movie released these days. The score is great, Kugler’s recurring collaborator Ludwig Göransson Sammie used the 1932 Dobro Cyclops resonant guitar in the movies, which offers incredible scores. The music of the movie has many moments, pushing it from a wonderful to a faint jawdropping for a while. I especially like how Göransson distinguishes the musical clues of different characters, which is a great detail that adds a lot of richness to the film.
The cast is excellent. Coogler did a great job in making the entire cast perform well and fulfilling, even if they had very little screen time or actually didn’t contribute much to the “plot” of the story. Instead, it feels like we stumble upon the real life of a person and see a bigger life. Hayley Steinfield ((Hawkeye) is a particular standout, with the rest of the cast having a huge screen chemistry that helps you fit into her history with them. When things get ugly and the vampire gets involved, she plays the switch perfectly, with the same part being frightening and surprisingly watching. Li Jun Li ((Babylon) is also great, depicting a more realistic and conflicting response to monsters that horror movies often don’t get into. Mosak ((Lovecraft Country) is also great, and although her character has to offer most of the fairs, she still instills a layer of credibility and warmth. The best supporting cast members must be inevitable Delroy cute ((da 5 blood), like drunk and cute Delta Slim, he steals the show on screen every time.

Most of the ads in this movie revolve around dual characters Michael B Jordan ((creed), when it’s more of an ensemble, controversially uses him as the film’s main star. It’s not about selling his work – he’s absolutely amazing in both roles. He clearly distinguishes the twin brothers, and he uses his body language, voice and manner to enrich the similarities and differences between them. Both felt incredibly perfect and sympathetic, equally badass and humans. He was so good in both roles that I often forget that they had to put two Michael B Jordans on the screen with special effects. Jordan continues to prove himself a true movie star, and his repeated collaborations with Coogler continue to strengthen my view of him, a truly great actor who permeates the charisma of the leader while being able to really act with grace and precision. It was an excellent show with a price of one.
Jack O’Connell ((skin) depicts the main opponent, Remmick, which is an incredible presence. In the way all the movie vampire should, he steals traditional Irish fixtures with particularly vivid and unusual sequences, creepy and fascinating. O’Connell embeds layers of nuance into his character, emitting even the smallest moments, and adds layers of depth and nuance and his performance. The film portrays vampires in a cult, hive-like fashion that fits the central theme of the film. They are frightening, whether visually expressed with sharp teeth, long fingers and shine, shiny eyes, but they also have strangely engaging in the most uncomfortable way and can distinguish the film’s interpretation of legendary creatures from the explanations of dozens of other vampire movies that appeared last year.
Myers Katton In his feature-length film premiere, the “main” protagonist Sammie Moore. He is very charming, especially considering that he is not a full-fledged actor. He has a lot to deal with, including multiple sequences, and he has to beat experienced actors like Lindo, Stanfeld and Jordan, but he shines. There is a sequence in the middle of the movie – those who see it will know exactly what I’m talking about – which makes me feel like I’m going to float out of the chair. It’s an incredible, audible and visual feast, and an emotionally explosive and triumphant moment that won’t work without Caton’s incredibly beautiful performance leading the way. Keep an eye on him and he will surely have more incredible work.

sinner There are a lot of things about it, but I think the focus is on culture, exploring assimilation and occupation. Jukebox Club is the people who Smoke and Stack attempt to create a space for Mississippi Delta blues culture where you can enjoy it, and where to make blues music created for the work they do and create artistically created. Outsiders like Mary of Stanfield can appreciate the space, but it’s still not hers. This cultural space is threatened by outsiders, a literal invasion culture that uses its own history of oppression to cover up the possibility that it is an oppressor in itself. Vampires are a corrupt force, in which individual cultures become the first priority, or as Remmick puts it, “I don’t want your story, I want your songs.” Everyone’s space is a good idea, but it’s a lie, and in fact, everyone’s space is a space without people. The only way to maintain a club is to fight for it, even if it is a potential battle of failure, because fighting for it is better than giving up and letting it die. This is the main message of the film, an incredibly exciting message, especially during such a turbulent period of so many cultural and personal tumultuous times in the United States. This is a topic that is rarely explored in popular culture, and sinner It’s an incredible job when it comes to a narratively rich movie experience resident Evil game).
Comprehensive, sinner It’s a total victory – engaging from start to finish and perfectly balances elements of historical drama, horror, action and romance to create a unique blend of tones that is totally convincing. With absolutely brilliant technical elements from top to bottom and an incredible cast, the film has both star-filled powerhouse performances, so the film allows itself to spend time and reward audiences with a thoroughly brilliant investment throughout the process. This is also important for the times, exploring an effective way to explore a topic that is rarely covered by mainstream popular culture, especially here. The end result is a must-see horror/action hybrid, which is almost perfect time in a movie you should play rather than walk.
