our distance Daredevil: Rebirthbut the second season has already started filming and will start filming soon. The news quietly emerged during a major D23 panel on Friday night, which included a variety of Marvel goodness, including our first look at the show’s first season, which is set to air in March. The trailer isn’t online yet, but here’s what we see in it.
The trailer opens with Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) talking to a man in prison. The man told him how bad the city had become and that someone needed to protect people. Heroes are needed. As he says this, we see footage of graffiti, crime, and what appears to be a particularly dark situation in the subway. There, a fight broke out.
Fudge (Elden Henson) tells Matt the system is stacked against him. It’s like David versus Goliath. We see Matt in some kind of dilapidated, dilapidated building where he’s pushed against a wall by a bearded Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal). Matt asks if he can put the ax down and we see he’s holding a small axe.
A shot of Kingpin from behind, looking ominous in different situations, with the words “The Devil’s Work… Never Ending” appearing on the screen. We see brief shots of five different Daredevil masks as well as shots of a few other masked characters. Eventually, Kingpin and Matt sat across from each other in a restaurant.
It was a tense situation and Matt said, “If you step out of line, I’ll be there.” Kingpin countered, “Who said that? Matt or your dark half?” He started laughing. Matt smiled. Here we see footage of him as Daredevil, lashing out at bad guys as he whips one guy with his signature billy stick and punches another guy in the face over and over again. Broken glasses fell to the ground, and someone asked: “What kind of lawyer are you? Matt replied: “A very good one.” “
Daredevil: Rebirth debuted in March.
