Jason returns to Bravo on SEAL Team Season 7 Episode 7, and Mitch’s situation doesn’t do anything good for his future.
Ray begins to worry that he’s about to retire and that Lisa might finally atone for Sonny’s mistakes.
Let’s discuss the hot topics in Mission Creep.
Action Asia ranks Bravo as one of the best
Bravo is back at the top of the DevGru food chain.
Their work in Asia removed any ill will created by previous operations, and the command prepared to redouble their capabilities.
The next surgery will allow for more immediate action, which is what the team is craving, especially Jason, who now seems to be throwing caution to the wind as he believes he won’t be able to find a work-life balance.
Jason solves the problem
Damn it, Jason. Stop whining. For a guy who thrives on chaos and is always “solving things,” he doesn’t have a good handle on life.
Yes, he’s done terrible things in his career, and it’s hard to move away from some of them.
But we all struggle with work-life balance. Half of us are at home but not really involved in any family activities because we are always working.
This is life in 2024.
His attitude and thirst for blood are concerning, especially since he keeps dreaming of his first kill.
We need more stories to figure out how he escapes these demons. Hopefully his reckless attitude doesn’t get him or anyone else killed at the same time.
Mitch overdoses and takes down the drug cartel
Really, is it a coincidence that Bravo was taking down drug cartels with Mikey OD at the same time? Well, no, because this is a scripted series. Jason would vent his anger about this in some way.
It’s unlikely he’ll be able to take down the real person responsible, but through his work he can do some damage to the source.
He set fire to the hideout, using their backs as a target. Do you think some of that money won’t make it back into the real world?
Why didn’t the command demand that the money be confiscated and used? Probably there is no trace to be found. Burning it was dramatic, but gosh, what a waste!
Is Jason’s future behind a desk?
Blass came up with a position that would address all of the health issues Jason’s bold move brought to their attention in SEAL Team Season 6 Episode 10.
So why doesn’t he seem more excited?
He is jealous of Ray because his future with Spencer House has been settled. Ray had goals and plans. Jason was blowing in the wind. You might think that knowing that his actions sparked change and wanting him to lead that change would make you welcome.
Not so much.
No matter what happened, there was no way Jason would take a position that would take him out of the action. He lives and breathes the stuff, and while he wants to change the way the military meets their health needs, he doesn’t want to be the one to make it happen.
mandy on edge
It’s great that Mandy is now a family. But she didn’t want to see Jason go back on his word.
Jason has been suffering from night terrors for some time, and he’s finally sharing his experience. The man who couldn’t wait to draw his gun in another act was also ashamed of what he had done.
In particular, he sees an officer remove the rosary beads from Jason’s first kill as a memento and he can’t let go. But Mandy can’t let go either.
She didn’t want Jason to be “that guy” again. Has he grown up? Can he accept what he has done? If he can’t, he could be missing out on the best thing that’s happened to him in a long time.
He thinks of himself as an executioner and forgets that he has two wonderful children that he helped raise. Until he solves his own problems, he’s fit for anything but Bravo duties.
“Fire is where I belong,” Jason said. “There’s nothing more to say. I have to do what I have to do. We respectfully disagree.
Is Ray having second thoughts about retirement?
After the intense life of a SEAL, it’s no surprise that Ray had a hard time imagining retirement.
I find it interesting that he cares more about who is going to take care of his players than who is going to take care of his family. He still fights and puts Bravo first and family second.
We see him hesitant to take on the leadership role of Spencer House. I don’t know why he wouldn’t, but if it’s not his dream, then he should pursue what makes him happy.
Jason doesn’t like Ray’s modesty and wants him to be happy that his future is settled, but Ray doesn’t think so. He didn’t want to land at the Spencer House; he didn’t want to land at the Spencer House. He wanted a plan. It’s fair and he deserves it for his efforts.
Sonny and Drew – Partners in Crime
Sonny is the kind of guy who needs someone to be by his side. When he lost Clay, he began to drift. Now, he’s attached to Drew. Surprisingly, it works.
Sonny’s Shark Tank moment
I’m a little confused about Sonny taking his gear to the open market. Wouldn’t the Navy want to work with him and make it available to the entire military?
Did I miss something that might indicate his rejection of their privatization?
I have no idea what he was doing during the meeting when he had to go to the bathroom. At first, I thought he was nervous. No, he had Drew, with his family fortune, waiting to give him advice.
It’s lovely and shows how much has changed in a short period of time.
Drew Flex again
When Drew breaks down again, Sonny isn’t the only one worried. Omar was as worried as Sonny. But Sonny figured out what happened to Drew.
Sonny said, “Remove yourself from the team so the team isn’t taken away from you.” As a girl who spent years ruining relationships, I would be very upset about the breakup if they broke up in front of me. It makes perfect sense to feel comfortable.
In practice, however, this is meaningless. We all know this.
Omar uses his past to sway Drew, and Sonny even declares that he would rather be Drew’s worst enemy than have Drew become his own worst enemy. Sonny grew up.
Omar has his own story and tries to make it clear to Drew. Sonny wants Drew to be his worst enemy, not himself.
Lisa continues to make waves, to the point where the Admiral wants her to stay with him. It was a huge honor, but deep down in her heart, she couldn’t let go of the anvil waiting to fall, which would destroy everything for her and Sonny.
If her sudden deployment behind closed doors is any indication, the ropes may be fraying. Something happened. Her attitude changes from cheerful and confident to attentive and dignified (hey, I could use the social media buzz, too!).
This series wouldn’t have ended if Sonny’s offense hadn’t been sorted out. The question is whether it will bring him down, or him and Lisa.
While it’s still hard to imagine how SEAL Team will end, this episode felt like a return to normalcy. We even have a sudden fade to black in the middle of the final scene. I missed!
Still, it makes sense that the appeal for the next episode would be strong when Bravo becomes king. We can even feel it from our couch when they falter.
