I saw this Chun-Li variant online a while ago, so I don’t know why I was so surprised that they released her as an SDCC exclusive. I think this is because Ken is an obvious continuation of last year’s exclusive and I didn’t expect the product to expand.

I’m glad they decided to run Laughing Portrait in Player 1’s colors and include it in this set. This winning pose was one of the things I missed in the first version of Chun-Li. The doll will begin previewing at SDCC 2024 on the evening of July 24, 2024, and will go live on July 25, 2024 at 9 a.m. Pacific Time. Again I pray they make enough of these to sell online. The fact that Ryu is following is pretty reasonable as they go into round two, so I expect that to continue. I don’t know what the relative popularity of P2 Chun Li is to Evil Ryu, but I suspect that since there are probably more people playing Pink Chun Li than Evil Ryu, there is more nostalgia for her.
