The price of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will rise to $20 per month starting September 12, but you can sign up now or add it to an existing subscription to get a huge discount. Amazon-owned retailer Woot has revived a popular three-month subscription offer. For the next three days, or until Woot sells out, you can Get three months of Game Pass Ultimate for just $36.49$12.16 per month — well below the $20 price that goes into effect Thursday.
1-month codes are also available on Woot, but they are more expensive at $13.79 per code. While there’s technically a limit to the number of codes you can purchase, we highly doubt you’ll need 24 three-month codes. However, you may want more than one. Game Pass Ultimate can be stacked for up to 36 months. This means you can purchase and redeem up to 12 three-month codes.
The more you stack, the more you save overall. For example, starting September 12, a year of Game Pass Ultimate costs $240, purchased directly from Microsoft, and is billed monthly. Under the new rates, the full price of Game Pass Ultimate will be $720 over 36 months. Woot’s deal brings the price down to $438 — a pretty good deal.
If Woot’s deal sells out, which it almost certainly will, Amazon will offer a three-month code for $45. After the price increase, three months of Xbox Game Pass will cost you $60, so this is still a solid offer.
Other Game Pass price increases include PC Game Pass going from $10 to $12 per month and the annual price of Xbox Game Pass Core going from $60 to $75 per year. For the streamlined game library, the $10 per month subscription price will not be affected. In addition to the monthly Game Pass game collection, this year’s upcoming “Decisive Hour” game “Black Ops 6” will also be included in Game Pass on the day of release. When Raiders of the Lost Ark launches on December 9, you’ll also be able to play the game on Game Pass.
Microsoft launched Game Pass Standard on September 10th. Exclusive game for the day. For now, Woot or even Amazon’s Game Pass Ultimate deals are clearly better options.
