Misaki also wrote the first novel adaptation of the manga, titled Sakamoto era The more methodless (Sakamoto Generations: Assassin’s Method), shipping in Japan in April 2023.

The comic’s spin-off is titled Sakamoto Vacations Launched in Shueishaof Xijing Jump Magazine July 4th. Tetsu OkawaAs an assistant to the main comic, he is drawing derivative works.
The manga inspired a TV animated series starring in January 2025 Tomokazu Sugita Plays Taro Sakamoto.
