A Pennsylvania tribute band frontman who wanted to be a rock star was devastated after he was kicked out of the band he founded. Things started to look up for Izzy when he was asked to join the heavy metal rock band Steel Dragon, which he had long emulated. The film is loosely based on the true story of the band Judas Priest.
