Riyadh, Saudi Arabia plans to host 12 new events in 2025. This was revealed at the first International MICE Summit (IMS24) held in Riyadh. The summit attracted 1,000 event professionals from more than 70 countries.
“Three of the world’s top ten professional event organizers are opening offices in Saudi Arabia, launching 12 new events and signing multiple agreements to drive industry progress and cement Saudi Arabia’s position as the world’s most exciting MICE hub,” said Chairman Fahd Al Rasheed, director of the Saudi Convention and Exhibition General Authority (SCEGA).
Events in Riyadh 2025
Money 20/20 – The show is scheduled to take place at the Riyadh International Exhibition and Convention Center (RICEC) from September 15 to 17 and is supported by Informa/Tahaluf.
FIBO Saudi Arabia – RX’s health, fitness and wellness exhibition will be held at RICEC from October 1st to 3rd.
bugle event – The World Refining Technology Congress, Advanced Therapeutics Week and the Fire Department and Emergency Services Conference will all be held in Saudi Arabia in 2025.
FSB Sports Show – Koelnmesse, in cooperation with dmg events, will organize this exhibition at RICEC from June 16 to 18, 2025.
International Hardware Expo – Organized by Koelnmesse and dmg events, from 16 to 18 June 2025 at RICEC.

Saudi Arabia’s vision
UFI CEO Kai Hattendorf said the idea for the summit came from a conversation with SCEGA in August. “It was amazing to see the energy and sheer willpower that went into organizing this event in a short period of time,” Hattendorf said. UFI also invited executives from 20 major exhibition companies to meet with SCEGA leaders.
Saudi Arabia will achieve economic growth of 8.7% in 2022 (the fastest among the G20) and is currently investing heavily in the exhibition industry. “Trade shows follow the growing market and they will grow significantly in Saudi Arabia,” Hattendorf said.
Saudi Arabia plans to invest US$8 billion in infrastructure to support the 2030 Riyadh Expo. It will also build a new showcase stadium in Riyadh to host the opening and final matches of the 2034 FIFA World Cup.
Saudi Arabia is committed to increasing infrastructure by $8 billion to accommodate the 2030 Expo in Riyadh. Additionally, the FIFA World Cup will be held in Saudi Arabia in 2034.
