SteamWorld Heist II ($29.99)
I’m in a weird zone steam world Series, I think. I initially missed DSi tower defense When I went back to play the game, I found it to be a little too intense to enjoy. i loved Steam World Diggingas well as the original steam world robbery Just right up my alley. Steam World Digging 2 It’s a vast improvement over the first game in many ways, but somehow I don’t like it that much. Steam World Quest It was interesting, but it didn’t quite come together for me. and Steam world building It’s a decent game, but the Switch doesn’t run it the way it needs to. I think all of these games are of great quality, with a lot of polish and care put into their design. But I admit the light has faded steam world To a certain extent for me.
so here we are Steam World Heist II, This is the second time the developers have revisited a concept in the series. Steam World Digging 2 Turned a relatively simple game into a much bigger game, but steam world robbery It’s big enough. So what Thunderful has done here is not to reinvent the wheel but to give us a new adventure with slightly improved mechanics and a few new twists. Ocean exploration is the biggest new feature, and it’s not bad. If nothing else, it’s a nice break from the turn-based combat. You also get a very in-depth working system that is very satisfying to tinker with. Having said that, none of this is a revolution by any means. I don’t think anyone would move from the first game to the second like we saw with Dig. On the other hand, this means that those who enjoyed the first game can safely dive into this one.
One big difference with this game is its theme, in that you’re sailing on the high seas and fighting diesel robots instead of rocketing through space. part of the fun steam world The series has always looked at how to flesh out the setting in each installment, and you’ll definitely get some of that here. The humor and writing are as good as ever, bringing plenty of charm to these “robots”, whether they’re people on your team or enemies you’ll get blown away and never see again. hat? Yes, you can still shoot off hats and collect them. The side-view turn-based tactical RPG remains engrossing, with every turn eager to find the perfect shot.
Steam World Heist II It’s not as new as the first game, and it more or less retains what came before. It can be a little difficult at times and you have to always be wary of gimmicks as some fights love them. The job system is a treat for those who enjoy hunting for crushing combos, while the world exploration breaks up the action while helping to better establish scenarios. if you like steam world robbery And get ready for more gameplay and more fun content steam world Legend has it that through this you will get what you are looking for.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Another World Chronicle ($49.99)
I really don’t know what to do with this. I’m a little familiar About me being reincarnated as a slimeat least in comic form. I gave up after a while because it got a bit boring for me, but I stuck with it long enough to get to know the premise and most of the main cast. So, familiar but maybe not a fan. Mind you, I don’t hate it. I guess one thing I can say without a doubt about this game is that it doesn’t work as well as I would have liked on the Switch. There are some framerate shenanigans that happen at times, and the game looks relatively simple when it really shouldn’t be happening.
Okay, let me lay out what you have here. The game retells the series’ story from its beginning to the battle with Falmus, although it speeds up earlier content. Some new game-specific stories have been added, thankfully coming from the original authors. Gameplay is divided into three styles. There are visual novel style scenes, sometimes mixed with some animation. You get some basic combos and dodge/counterattack mechanics here. Nothing fancy, but it’s entertaining enough. Finally, a very basic city builder. After all, you have to build the Jura Storm Alliance. Basically, it gives you an excuse to grind the material.
And grinding is key. The game mechanics are a little too thin to carry much here, and combat quickly becomes repetitive. However, you have to be involved in many of these things. There are a few sub-quests to complete that add some extra spice, but you’re stuck in a loop early on that never changes much. What keeps you going is the story, but if you’re familiar with the property you’ll know most of it. With limited gameplay, you never really feel like you’re playing through the stories. If you’re not a fan of the series, this is one way to get to a certain point. Mind you, I think this is probably the worst way for a beginner to digest this story. Well, that’s a common problem with this sort of thing. I think overall, fans will enjoy it. Maybe that’s enough.
About the time I was reincarnated as a slime: Chronicles of another world Those who love the land will probably enjoy it the most, but even they will find the meal a bit meager. The two new stories are interesting and for a while it’s fun to see these characters in action and building a federation. Unfortunately, the gameplay itself never really scales the way it needs to, so unless you’re in the mood for a lot of repetition, you may find yourself getting bored quickly.

Rack and Kill ($5.99)
A roguelite dungeon crawler? Boring! Wait a minute… wait a minute! Is that hero… billiards? Well, that’s a completely different color horse! So, yes, in this game you can launch your ball hero at ball enemies and knock them into the ball bag. There are tons of items to find and a surprising number of modes to enjoy. A cute idea that works quite well in practice.
sales volume
(North American e-store, US prices)
That outbox is tiny. I like super lucky story Although indie 3D platformers aren’t as new as they once were, there are still a lot of them out there. As for new sales, what’s in the listing doesn’t make much sense to me. It’s not that there aren’t good games in there. Jinug is an excellent shooter, super hot It’s really fun and door opener Has its charm. But it’s all frequently on sale, so it’s hard to generate much excitement. Check the list and do what you have to do.
