Finally is a common listing of new and expiring sales. Why break with tradition? Let’s get to the main topic today!
Comments and mini views
JALECOlle Famicom version of Marble Quest ($7.99)
City Connection is officially launching a new set of releases for the game, with more already announced. The idea was to bring some of Jaleco’s lesser-known games back to market, and even localize some games that were only released in Japan at the time. it chose marble task To kick things off, it’s apparently because of the game’s popularity with Western respondents in a poll the company did. Of course, I remember this from that day. Let’s see how it holds up.
Although this is technically the first version jellecolle series, regular customers of the Switch version of City Connection will find much of its packaging familiar. Watcher Tengu and Zombie Nation and Herbric Enjoyment Edition This uses the earlier versions we see here, and the options and extras are more or less consistent with those. A feature comes from Hebrew However, there has been evolution here. Now, when Japanese text appears, the translated dialogue appears on the screen, so you don’t have to go into the gallery to see it. You can also play the Japanese and overseas versions of the game. They’re almost identical, but I appreciate the choice.
marble task is a pinball game launched on the Famicom in 1989 and on the NES the following year. For an 8-bit game, its physics are a bit rough, and I think that’s going to be the deciding factor in buying it for most people who want to play it. Do you agree that a primitive mechanical nut and bolt pinball game feels weird? If so, you might find its oddities interesting. If not, you’ll feel frustrated as the ball lurches around wildly, with a blatant disregard for any sense of reality.
If you only play the first few tables offered marble task, which may look like a regular pinball game. Sure, a few twists are shown, but nothing out of the ordinary. This is RPG mode where things get a little weird. Suddenly, instead of earning points, you earn coins, and you seem to have an attack meter. You’re making your way through six multi-level tables, trying to defeat enemies and bosses to open a path forward. If you fall off your current table, you’ll return to the previous table with half your attack power. Between the tables you can use your gold coins to buy some items from the shopkeeper, and you can even try your luck by trying to steal items from him. Complete all the tables and you can rescue the princess and complete your marble mission.
As a game, marble task Just mediocre in my book. It’s really fun, but the physics makes things really annoying. Still, it’s nice to see a game like this reach a new audience with a re-release like this. City Connection has done a great job with this wrapper and its suite of features, even if it’s not the prettiest thing. If you’re interested in the game or have fond memories of it, this is a great way to explore it. Keep in mind that this featured game has a lot of rough edges, so if you want a gross-out pinball game, you might want to check out Zen Studios.

Fate/Stay Stay Remastered ($29.99)
Oh hey hey, this is fateful night, in English. What? it is fateful night Speak in English! The visual novel was Type-Moon’s first commercial release, and is certainly the basis for a series that’s still going strong today. The remake is based on the PlayStation Vita remake that launched in Japan over a decade ago. So, yes, if you were wondering how the story would have progressed in the original game’s form, now you can figure that out. The price is even quite reasonable for this kind of release. Mikhail might be watching this, but I’m not sure. I’ll have to check it out.
JALECOlle Famicom Edition Yokai Club ($7.99)
This is the second one jellecolle This line is interesting because we’ve never seen it released outside of Japan before. Not exactly a text-heavy thing, but it’s still cool. Expect the wrapper to have the same suite of features as above marble task, Minus the choice of regional versions, since the game only has one. This is an action platform game that seems to borrow some cues from Castlevania. I may review it, so please be aware.
I want to go to Mars ($4.99)
A point-and-click adventure game for kids about a boy who wants to go to Mars with his teddy bear friend. It might be a little too easy for the adults in the room, but they can at least enjoy a decent presentation. If you have kids who want to ease into the adventure gaming genre, this might provide a way to do it.
Lullaby of Life ($14.99)
Those looking for something to satisfy their thirst for some chill musical puzzles may find it in this game. Set in the origins of the universe, you play as a particle and use musical notes to awaken other organisms. You have to play the notes in the right order at the right time, a mechanic that keeps you focused without asking too much of you. It’s been out on other platforms for a while now, and I hope it gets the same warm welcome on Switch as it has on other platforms.
Skeletor: Chronicles of Elricona ($14.99)
Adds another Soulstroidvania to the pile. The game has a pretty unique art style, which seems to be its main differentiating point. I don’t have much to say about this one, but those who are less tired of this particular Metroidvania than I am may want to check it out for themselves.
Katie($4.99)
Of course, why not another monochromatic precision platformer? These games cost five bucks and make a great filler between larger games. The fact that the film stars a cat definitely gives it bonus points. You probably already own a lot of these games, but if you want one more, it’s here, and it’s not very expensive.

(North American e-store, US prices)
It’s not the most exciting batch of new sales today, but if you’ve been keeping an eye on these frontline mission If it’s a remaster, it’s probably better to sell them than sell them at full price. The rest of your inbox is filled with a lot of the usual suspects, but maybe today is the day one of them slides into your collection? In the mailbox, this is your last chance to get these Telenet series at a reasonable discount. Check these lists!

That’s all for today, friends. We’ll be back tomorrow with Thursday’s new games slate, which will take up the bulk of this article as usual. We’ll also break out any sales or breaking news throughout the day. I’m really sleepy today. Didn’t sleep well at all last night. I guess this happens from time to time. Hope you all had a great Wednesday, and as always, thank you for reading!
