This week’s throwback trailer is for the 1987 sci-fi film time tracker. The film tells the story of a history professor who becomes involved with two time travelers from the year 2586 after making a discovery in an old photo from 1886.
Played by history professor Dr. Scott McKenzie William Devaneaccidentally involved in a time-travel adventure. After discovering an old photo depicting a man brandishing a futuristic weapon, Scott realizes something is amiss.
His curiosity leads him to meet a time traveler named Georgia, played by Lauren Hutton, who reveals that she has come from the future to stop a villainous criminal named Dr. Joseph Cole (Klaus Kinski) so as not to change the course of history. Cole is a rogue scientist who steals a weapon from the future and plans to alter the past for his own benefit.
As Scott and Georgia team up to hunt Cole across time and space, they face countless challenges and obstacles in their quest to prevent the timeline from being altered.
The film is an interesting blend of Old West elements with futuristic sci-fi concepts. Watch the trailer below!
