Which cookie is your favorite? Strong tea? Bubon? Milk jelly? Well, the folks at Baldur’s Gate 3 developer Larian seem to be partial to Oreos, so much so that the movie’s artist caressing a pack of Oreos was apparently used as a reference to the tentacle caressing animation of, uh, you and the Emperor.
You know the one. At first you’re just relaxing together, and then they do something with your brain to let you know they’re in the mood. When you get closer, their breath smells like garlic because apparently their food tastes the same as Peter Kay’s. Then you either get along with tentacle people or non-tentacle people. Yes, that’s it.

“Now that we’re sharing a behind-the-scenes look at the making of Baldur’s Gate 3,” Larian declared in a tweet you’ll probably never forget, “this is our senior cinematic artist Elodie Cesely. Ceselli), caressing a packet of cream biscuits as a reference to the tentacle caressing animation in the sex scene with the Emperor.

Larian’s publishing director Michael Douse apologized in a subsequent tweet for all of us receiving this information or for revealing what studio developers did to the snack, it’s unclear which.
