Last month we were excited to announce this book (along with the rest of Goat’s exciting 2025 slate), and today we’re excited to share an entire chapter of this new fantasy graphic novel with you. that’s right a whole chapter.

The book is 184 pages long and is currently in pre-release on Kickstarter, which means you can go to this page, click Notify me when it’s published, and receive an email when the campaign starts. I’ve skimmed the first 75 pages of this book early on, and I absolutely support this activity. Tomoe is one of the most exciting new cartoonists to emerge in recent years, with a breakthrough Jelia, and then went on to create one of the best DC Comics Black Label series in recent memory Robin: The Boy Wonder.
This new book tells a story that spans centuries and feels like a novel within a short story. It’s immersive, dynamic and brilliant. Check out the 10 page preview below featuring Knight and Elgin and the slow passage of time!
