Razer has released the Freyja Gaming Cushion, a tactile cushion that can be installed on a gaming chair, the company announced. The cushion costs $299.99 and is available now.

Freyja is an extension of the vibrations you get from a game controller, and in addition to shaking your hands, it also causes several panels located behind and below you to buzz in response to what’s happening in the game.

The company says the cushion’s feedback comes from “multi-directional haptics powered by six advanced haptic motor actuators.” It connects via Bluetooth or Razer’s HyperSpeed wireless connection.

Most of the time, this vibration is simply converted from the sound from the game you’re playing, the music you’re listening to, or the movie you’re watching. Razer List Final Fantasy 16, Silent Hill 2 and STALKER 2 One of the first games to integrate haptic-driven Razer Sensa HD technology.

Razer launched the “Project Esther” version of Freyja at CES, and it was a hit at the show edgeSean Hollister’s butt during presentation during event. At the time, it wasn’t clear if it would actually become a reality – but here it is.

The company also launched the Kraken V4 Pro, a version of its new Kraken V4 headphones that will vibrate your mind through touch. Like the saddle, the V4 Pro uses Razer HyperSpeed and Bluetooth, as well as USB or 3.5mm wired connectivity.

The V4 Pro comes with a little box called the OLED Control Hub, which is used to adjust its vibration feedback, select inputs, or adjust effects (the headphones naturally have RGB lights). According to the product page, the Razer V4 Pro is priced at $399.99 (or 449.99 euros), and first orders and Freyja will begin shipping on October 7.
