When did Landman Season 1 gain traction?

In February 2022, Paramount+ unveiled plans for a television series based on the popular podcast Boomtown, aptly titled Landman, from writer Taylor Sheridan.
The series will follow the Norris family as they navigate the West Texas oil industry, interacting with key players in the oil rig business.
Paramount+ must have a good feel for the series considering it’s already garnered so much attention despite not airing yet.
In May 2024, Demi Moore confirmed that the show had filmed a second season, with production to begin in early 2025.
What is Landman about?
Landman is set in the world of oil drilling in West Texas, where “drillers and wildcat billionaires are driving an economic boom that’s reshaping our climate, our economy, and our geopolitics.”
The TV show “Landman” was inspired by the 2019 podcast “Boomtown,” a hit 11-episode series that topped the streaming charts.
The podcast delves into the environmental impact and modern Texas oil boom, themes that will continue to be explored in the “Randleman” series.
Of Taylor Sheridan’s work, Demi Moore recently told Vanity Fair magazine, “His women are incredible, complex, vibrant, delicious, powerful, vulnerable, and flawed.
“He’s thinking ahead. He’s thinking about more than just one season,” Moore added.
“He was thinking of an epic story.”

How many episodes are there in Randleman Season 1?
Currently, there is no official episode number, but filming has wrapped.
There should be news soon on the length of Randleman’s first season.
