The main crew of the film reunited Expelled from Paradiseincluding director Seiji Mizushima,screenwriter Xu Yuan Xuan of nitro pluscharacter designer Masatsugu Saitoand composer Narazaki.
Expelled from paradise It premiered in 13 theaters in Japan in November 2014 and sold 110,000 tickets. The film’s Blu-ray and DVD sales exceeded 70,000 copies after its release in Japan. The film won the Best Animation Award at the 24th Japan Film Critics Awards in May 2015.
