As well as analyzing the action and evaluating the best betting offers, horse racing enthusiasts may also want to add a new item to their to-do list – making sure they allocate time to sit in front of the TV and watch one of the most exciting horse racing events ever. TV series over the years.

Premiering on Friday 19 June and already available on ITVX, Champions: The Race will capture the heart and soul of National Hunt racing like never before over the course of six episodes.

Behind the Scenes of Jump Game

“Champion: The Ride” is not your ordinary sports documentary. This is an in-depth look at the 2023-24 equestrian season, showing the highs and lows of the sport from an insider’s perspective, giving fans an inside look at what it takes to prepare a horse for glory.

Viewers will get an up-close look at top jockeys such as Harry Cobden, Nico de Bonneville and Bryony Frost, as well as legendary trainers such as Nicky Henderson and Paul Nicholls life. It’s not just about people; The series will also showcase the majestic horses that make the sport so special.

The documentary series is ITV’s response to the success of shows such as Drive to Survive (Formula 1) and All or Nothing (football). Just as those series gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at their favorite sports, “Champions: Ride” hopes to do the same for obstacle racing. Unlike those series, “Champions: Ride” airs on free-to-air television, reaching a larger audience than sports documentary series exclusive to streaming platforms.

    What’s on the agenda?

The first episode kicks off with the thrilling spectacle of the Boxing Day meeting at Kempton, headlined by historic King George VI Chase, one of the most prestigious events of the jumping season. Expect to see big star horses like Shishkin and Bravemansgame competing, as well as Shark Hanlon’s Hewick, a small but mighty horse from Ireland. The episode will also focus on the much-loved Froden and his heart-warming relationship with jockey Bryony Frost.

Next, episode two delves into the intense battle for the Champion Jockey title. Jockey Sean Bowen took the lead but Harry Cobden was close behind. Who can come out on top in the end?

    star of show

The series wouldn’t be the same (and maybe even non-existent) without its star-studded cast. 14-time champion trainer Paul Nicholls is a central figure in the event and his presence could be a major attraction. “We would never have made this show without Paul Nichols,” said Mel Leach of South Shore Productions.

Jockeys like Harry “Hollywood” Cobden brought their charm and wit to the screen, providing audiences with a dose of humor to accompany the more serious side of the sport. As well as Cobden, other notable names such as multiple Grade 1 winner Nico de Boinville are also of great value. And let’s not forget about the horses themselves, the beautiful equestrians who rightly enjoy their screen time.

    why it’s important

At a time when motorsport is facing many challenges, including dwindling spectator numbers and falling betting stakes, Champions: All Out could be just the boost the sport needs. At the very least, the series provides an opportunity to reconnect with old fans and attract new ones by showcasing the grit, glory and glamor of show jumping and emphasizing love and respect for horses.

Whether you’re a life-long racing fan or just curious about what goes on behind the scenes, Champions League will be a compelling and entertaining watch. Enjoy the ride!
