Only one week left until harmony Act nowThe team behind the first-person hero shooter has announced future plans for the PlayStation 5 console-exclusive game. The roadmap confirms at least three quarters of post-launch updates, as well as a microtransaction store launching in October.
“The base game is the foundation from which we continue to evolve over time, expanding the universe through the system, introducing new ways to play and master each character, giving you hundreds of unique rewards to earn and unlock, and week after week Unfolding story weeks, as well as seasonal updates, will introduce new characters, new maps and worlds, new modes, new stories, new features and more,” Game Director Ryan Gillis wrote Tuesday on the PlayStation Blog.
Season 1 will begin in October and will add new playable characters, maps, Freegunner variants, quality of life updates, new rewards, additional cinematic footage, and most importantly, the in-game item shop. Players can spend additional money on top of the $40 box price to “complement the hundreds of rewards earned through progression.” Gillis emphasized that none of these items will impact gameplay, although it remains to be seen how much cooler the stuff in the store will look than what you can unlock by playing.
Season 2 will be released in early January 2025. Concord will then receive an 18th playable character, another new map, a new game mode, and other updates, bonuses, and story animations. Season 3 is set to air in April, but the studio has yet to reveal specific plans. Of course, even between seasons, the game will continue to get mini-story drops at the start of each new week. There is no battle pass and all seasonal content is free.

It sounds like no matter what happens, Sony and Firewalk Studios are committed to delivering harmonyFirst year.

After that, as we’ve seen with other games, including one from 2024 suicide squad, harmonyThe future may be less certain.
