In addition to the previously released games, Sony has just announced seven more games that will be enhanced on the PS5 Pro when it launches on November 7. New titles include Star Blade, Star Wars Jedi: Survivors, F1 24, Metal Gear Delta: Snake Eater, Both Resident Evil Village and Resident Evil 4, and Dragon Age: Veiled Guards.
This means there are 20 enhanced games for the entire roster confirmed so far, including:
But while it may not have been clear from Sony’s initial YouTube livestream announcement, we’ve seen that the PS5 Pro does promise graphical improvements over the original PS5, especially in games that feel more compromised than the original PS5, such as Final Fantasy VII Reborn.
When games are explicitly patched for a new console, as Sony has revealed so far, they should no longer ask players to choose between smooth 60 frames per second and high detail levels: PS5 Pro’s extra horsepower and artificial intelligence The enhanced “PSSR” upgrade should mean you get both the high-resolution and high-frame-rate modes of the original PS5.
Sony has yet to reveal the resolution or frame rate at which these enhanced games will run internally. The company says it expects 40-50 games to have PS5 Pro patches when the system launches, and that PS5 Pro will still be able to play PS4 and PS5 games that haven’t been patched yet. Some may be able to run faster in boost mode.
