In a live broadcast on Monday morning this week, Apple launched a number of new products from AirPods 4 to iPhone 16.
The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro aren’t available for pre-order until Friday, September 13, but you can pre-order the Apple Watch Series 10 right now at Amazon and Best Buy. The 42mm model is priced at $399, while the larger 46mm model is priced at $429. Apple Watch Series 10 will be officially released on Friday, September 20th.

The new Apple Watch offers a variety of straps and cases to choose from. You can choose between a jet black case—the first polished aluminum finish for Apple Watch—and a choice of black sport band or jet sport loop. The rose gold aluminum case is available with a light pink sports strap or a fuchsia sports loop. Available in a silver aluminum case when paired with the Denim Sport Band and Blue Cloud Sport Loop.
Shape and design
Series 10 will feature the largest display in Apple Watch history, slightly larger than Ultra 2 and 30% more screen area than Series 6. and a full line of additional text.
Below the front crystal, now extending further along the sides of the watch, is Apple’s first wide-angle OLED display. People often view their watches at an angle—you can glimpse the time or see incoming notifications while you’re typing on a keyboard or resting your hands on your lap. The pixels in wide-angle OLEDs are optimized to emit more light at wider angles. When viewed from a certain angle, the brightness increases by 40%.
Apple Watch Series 10 is thinner than ever, only 9.7mm thick. About 10% thinner than the Series 9 model.

One of the new software features highlighted during the live broadcast was the addition of a translation app. Machine learning is used for speech recognition and fast translation so you can easily navigate conversations in different countries.
In addition, many new indicators can be measured during sleep, many of which are designed to help identify sleep apnea, a serious undiagnosed condition. The detection algorithm consults a data set of clinical-grade sleep apnea tests and then notifies the wearer if signs of sleep apnea are detected.
